The chalk talks are a series of informal meetings for PhD students or PostDocs to introduce their research to fellow students, researchers and support staff. The idea is to give a 15 min introduction to the topic, rather than detailed results, to an audience with very diverse scientific background, and allow plenty of time for questions.
To help focus on the relevant scientific questions, we allow the use of the board, and chalks, and props, but absolutely no Powerpoint slides!
The chalk talks are held in the atrium every 2nd Thursday at 10 am, with coffee and biscuits.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
Mike, Wayne, Ingrid, Ulrike & Daniel
